National Weather Service predicts that the Puget Sound region will see some improvement in air quality today, especially along the coast. However, there are still a lot of very active first burning on Vancouver Island and in British Columbia, and northwest winds will likely bring more of that smoke to the region this weekend. How this will affect air quality is uncertain.
The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency says that air quality is now good for most of King County but the improvement in air quality is lagging in Snohomish county.
