From the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) created a new URL for people with Medicare to log into/create secure Medicare accounts at Medicare.gov.

If people bookmarked links to MyMedicare.gov, they’ll still work – the site will automatically redirect them to the new URL to log in/create an account as they do today.

Also, as part of this change, Medicare is no longer referring to it as “MyMedicare.gov.” This is part of the transition to create a more seamless logged-in user experience on Medicare.gov.
